This is my first time posting, but I have been on Allnurses for a couple of years now! I really appreciate this community, as you all helped me to get through my prereqs and pass the teas 6.
I have applied to College of Marin's Fall 2017 ADN program, and I'm reaching out to see who else is applying there as well.
In addition to College of Marin, I had to cast a wide net for schools--I also applied to about 9 other schools in and around the area.
I would love to set up a thread so we can keep in contact with each other....I think we start to hear back in April/May.

Just a thought. Drop your facebook email addresses here so we could make a facebook group for COM ADN class of 2019. Where we could all post announcements, updates, and etc.
If you make a Facebook group, please make it private and invite members of your class when Angela sends out the official cohort list. SNA usually facilitates this for the incoming first years during the first week of class. We just want to make sure everyone in the FB group has officially been accepted (meaning they've received acceptance from the school AND passed all drug/background checks).
Once you have the list, it will be super easy to invite people to the FB group. Also, SNA met yesterday to start planning the Welcome Picnic for the class of 2019! It will be on Saturday, August 19th. I believe the time we decided was from 12:00-2:00.
hi if your child is in preschool college of marin child study center is awesome! my daughter went there while i was finishing up prereqs and they work around your schedule. my daughter still talks about the teachers. see you in class!

Hi all! Has anyone received the email for class registration at com and/or university of phoenix yet? I was out of town for a few weeks so I'm afraid I might've missed something.
You didn't miss anything. I was wondering the same thing and asked a friend who is a second year and she said it took them a while to get us our schedule and stuff. She told me this morning not to worry and she got hers almost two weeks before class started:)
