College of Mainland in Texas City

Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?

That's I would like to know because I wasn't able to get on the list

I think so. She said they have people who signed up for the class and they would be advising them to register for it on may 1st. But it was stamped with the date they were put on a list and they take the first 40 who signed up first.

Just emailed my Immunization records and TB skin test, and I'm going to take the CPR class on Saturday. Almost done with everything, can't wait for May 1st😤

@trinatrt where can I take a CPR class at

I looked at Red Cross and AHA. AHA is cheaper, I'm going to one close to my house for$60. Look on their website and you can find one close.

So a few questions..

I just did the application and it was very short! Didn't ask much of anything. Was this the case for everyone else? Also do the scores on the modules count? I know the final quiz is what they look at but didn't know if the modules count as well. I had a few issues with it, maybe a computer/system issues, idk. Also, do you have to meet with an advisor before applying? Lastly, do we just email shot records and cpr certification to the [email protected]?

Sorry for all the questions :)

Yea the app is very short and the scores on the modules count but you can take them over. You don't haft to meet with an advisor before applying, I was told that you don't even haft to do that before the may 1st deadline. And yes you can just email those things in, just before to call afterwards to make sure it doesn't get lost in spam or anything. I emailed mine and when i called they didn't see it so i emailed it again while on the phone with them and they got it. Emailing is the fastest way but just be sure to follow up.

Okay thank you @trinatrt! When I did the modules and finished, a link didn't pop up for the application. I log into the web advisor and saw nursing application and just did that. It only asked me like 3 questions and that was it. Is that the application? I didn't fill out any kind of info. Sorry, I just felt like something wasn't right especially since I didn't get the link. I will go ahead and email everything as well, going to have my TB read today and get a Tdap since mine just expired.

Yea you did everything right. The application was really short and you don't haft to enter anything.

Hey yall. We wear red scrubs. Health assessment is a learning curve getting into nursing school. It is very time consuming! Good luck to yall! & just a heads up since I had the experience. I had my hep b series as a child but my Titer showed no immunity. So check on that asap 😉.. I had to get the series again.

Hi @e16nurse are you in the program now?
