Hello! I have been looking for a thread but no luck. There's no post in Texas nursing either. I am going to apply to college of the mainland for fall 2015.
Hello KALFRN14 i did apply but i am a little confused I spoke with a allied health counslor and I did the pre-orientation. I have been calling to set up an appointment to do the EDP but was informed that I no longer needed to that so I emailed them to see what is the next step after.
Yea it seems like things are a bit confusing. Please let me know what you find out. Have you taken the TSI reading test? I took the teas reading and didn't know they weren't taking it any longer.
Oh no...as long as you are at college level reading, math and english you should be TSI ready and not have to take a test. I already have an Associate in Science. I'm going to stay on top of them I have already called and left a message and I sent a email yesterday. I'll post as soon as i get some information.
Ok good. I misunderstood that. I have a BA already so it should be good. I have only started applying to the school but have all the prerequisites completed. The deadline is may 31st?
@KALFRN...okay I spoke with Theo Moody allied health advisor and he states after doing your pre-orientation online you should receive a link to apply for the nusing program it is really short and that's it. Next we will receive something via email or mail they are not sure yet to submit shot records..Hope this helps
Ok thank you! I still have to apply to the college then I'll complete the orientation. I'll see if I can ask advisor if there is anything else needed. Do you know any others applying or anyone in the program currently?
No I don't unfortunately...and the deadline is May 1st for fall admission @KALFRN14

Hello All, I have Applied and submitted my application, due to the nursing program change you will still have to take the TSI reading because now they are going off of a point system.
Hello JaeThoma even if you already have a degree?
