  1. Is that all nursing school is about as far as papers? Or is it just the school I attend. I dread them EVERY TIME because I am not a person that likes to put stuff off until the last minute. So far the papers we've had have been group (we've had 3).
  2. You bet! Good luck & thanks! 😊
  3. They also accept a lot more in the fall than the spring. 😉
  4. No problem! I don't remember my score but I did take several of the prereqs and others not required but were on there so it did boost my score up quite a bit. I also got second tier for whatever the score allotment was for the teas. They sent out letters within a reasonable amount of time. Don't remember exactly the time amount either. I do however remember that I was calling the nursing office about every week to ask about when the letters were going out. Best of luck to all of yall! 😊
  5. Sent u a pm Kalfrn
  6. No prob👍🏼 I'm happy to help 😊
  7. COM was the only school I applied to.
  8. Honestly, just knowing that I'm a day closer to the end makes me happy. I just want to be an RN already 😁. I have a family and being in school can def get in the way at times. I chose COM because of the proximity to my home. Didn't want to go to Houston so I decided to go south.
  9. No. Our whole class took both health assessment and skills at the same time 😊
  10. If you have both bring both.
  11. Sure. I started in the spring so our program is a little condensed as far as time and curricula. (Possibly a little more stressful.. Lol😉) Health assessment is 8 weeks and you also have skills at the same time which is the full 16. After 8 weeks you start clinical. It goes by SUPER fast. You HAVE TO keep up or you will fall behind. Exams are NCLEX style which take time to get used to. Like I said there's a learning curve. It takes time to get in the swing of things. You have to study. If you were ever the type that didn't (I was) it will hit you hard. Nursing school is completely different from regular courses. It can get intense. There's a lot of content. It's not as bad as everyone makes it seem. Once you get the hang of it, it's ok. Organization is crucial!
  12. Thanks for the suggestions! 😉
  13. Oh I don't make anything special. But I do try to incorporate something she may like. She's gone without dinner on occasions. We say the "you get what you get and don't throw a fit."
