Ladies the waiting game is the toughest. I wish we would know to take the course during summer. I haven't taken pharm. Great job on that. I hope to have awesome study groups to help with that class. I know is alot of memorization. Hopefully we learn that we all get accepted soon

Yes it does make it a little easier when you work in the medical field...Okay I called HCC and she looked at my transcript and informed me that my scores was on my offical transcript from yesterday so I ordered it online to have it sent electronicially to COM. I see they summer schedule is already up and I want to take Health Assessment but I don't want to jump the gun, what do you think? I wish I could find out sooner if I was going to be accepted or not geesh..

Are you applying to HCC program as well?

@KALFRN14 no I'm not applying at HCC, I applied at COM, Alvin and Lee college I need to get in somewhere because my sciences start to expire in the Fall so I need to get into a Fall program. Okay on another note..I called COM yesterday and ask what was the highest you could score on the TSI reading and she informed me 390 when i took it scored a 368 so i'm going to retest for a higher score and as far as Health Assessment you had to get permission and get on a list and apparently the list is closed but how were we suppose to know all of this info? I'm starting to get a little aggervated with COM not having this process more organzied.

I know that feeling one of mine expires by the end of the year, so I'm definitely looking to start this fall, I have to! I plan to take my TSI on Friday. I haven't heard anything on my acceptance to COM and I know you have to be admitted before taking the orientation. There's only a little over 2,weeks left before the deadline. That is crazy that health assessment is closed... there should be spots left open fort he student that get in the program.

Hi guys, I am applying to the program for this fall 2015. I was accepted to COM, I took the TSI Reading (360) at HCC and emailed the scores. I just applied to the ADN program, which was a really quick application. I have taken all of my vaccinations except for FLU. Today I went and took the TB skin test so I'm going to email my Immunization records as soon as I go in for the TB reading on Thursday. The only thing that I have left to do is the CPR. Do you guys know of a cheap class in the Houston area? Good luck to everyone:up:

I didn't know they accepted students before may 1st or at least that's what they told me. This is news to me I haven't been accepted into he program yet.

Where did you hear they accepted students already? Maybe they are students already attending COM?

My mistake I understood @trinatrt had gotten an acceptance letter but I believe it is for the actual college. I hope and pray every single one of us gets in. When I submitted all my shots and tsi score the lady asked for my information for the health assesment course but I have not heard anything else regarding that. 2 more weeks then the letters go out shortly after.

Ok gotcha. Yea I still have a lot to do in 2 weeks. Because I work full time it's hard to get time off to go take the TSI. Did you just email or bring in your shot record info? And which shots are needed? I have pretty much all my shots done but want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I pray we all get in too!
