Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?
I took the TSI on monday it was easy in my own opinion. That is where mainly your ranking score comes from. The highest score is around 450 or higher from what the nursing department told me. Your highest score in reading can be 390 so yea it counts alot. I have FAITH in God. Now the waiting game.

That's great! Glad to hear it went well and isn't too hard! You're gonna get in girl..Faith in God is all we need! The waiting is the worse.
We all are dedicated so it will pay in the end. Have you found a place around here in pearland? There is plenty of places for rent not sure if you want to buy or rent. At least it will be closer than where you are now. I wonder what color the scrubs are? I haven't asked my friend.
Not yet I plan to really look once I know I'm accepted. I'm interested in renting either house or an apt. I would even move to the clear lake/ league city/bay brook area as well. I also wonder what color the scrubs are? I'm just hoping I get processed through COM I can apply asap! I'm nervous and just want to submit already. When you turn in shot record, you mail, email, or drop it off?
Okay ladies I took the TSI yesterday at HCC it wasn't that hard but I was expecting to do better than what I did. I passed but I wanted a really high score. I'm just going to keep the faith and pray and hope with me having all my pre req's plus pharm done will give me an extra boost:arghh:

Great to hear! Did you just go to HCC and ask to take it or do you have to register before hand? I plan to take mine there as well. And don't worry, you'll be fine and get in. You have pharm done, that's great! Means your first semester won't be as hard.
I went because thats where I got my AS degree from so I was already in the system and it was down the street. I'm in the process now trying get my scores over to them COM. I took pharm at Lonestar summer I was trying to make nursing school as easy as possible.
Well that was smart, you'll be good then! I took all my pre reqs at HCC. If possible I may try to take pharm over the summer as well although I think it may not be too bad taking while in school since I have a lot of experience with it from work.
Yes it does make it a little easier when you work in the medical field...Okay I called HCC and she looked at my transcript and informed me that my scores was on my offical transcript from yesterday so I ordered it online to have it sent electronicially to COM. I see they summer schedule is already up and I want to take Health Assessment but I don't want to jump the gun, what do you think? I wish I could find out sooner if I was going to be accepted or not geesh..

Ok that's good to know! so I'll take it and then send COM my transcript from HCC. I hear that they recommend taking health assessment for summer. But when you don't know if you accepted yet it makes it hard. I would definitely want to take it. Hopefully we will know by the first few weeks in May and we can sign up right away. One less class to take during the 1st semester
