Hello All:

Starting a thread for those of us applying to COC Summer/ Fall 2019 RN program. I am specifically applying to the LVN to RN program. Lets keep each other updated on status.

I know this is kinda late but what are y'all wearing to the orientation. I was just going to wear jeans, a long sleeve, and a sweater because they didn't specify what attire we should be wearing.

Hello! I am dressing semi professional(professional-casual) , no jeans for me! They didn’t specify so you’ll be fine with what your wearing but since this is our first impresssions I wanted to dress up a bit ?

For the Lvn to Rn program orientation I thought the same. But there was people in jeans and hoodies. They didn’t even care what we were wearing.

Did you go to the orientation?

On orientation day, they had already accepted 7 alternates. Per this thread, the #2 alternate was going to reject their spot, so #9 (8 if they didn’t reject their spot) should be up next. I’m 9, so I’ll post if/when I get a call.

Per the orientation already 7 alternates were called/emailed and accepted into the program.

Is alternate #8 on here, by chance? And if so, have you heard anything?

Does anyone know if any students in orientation that had Ventura as their first choice? They have just sent out acceptances
