College of the Canyons Summer/ Fall 2019

Hello All:

Starting a thread for those of us applying to COC Summer/ Fall 2019 RN program. I am specifically applying to the LVN to RN program. Lets keep each other updated on status.

I’m leaning towards not taking the success course, but I also don’t want to find out that I needed the extra time.

11.75 units include the success course which I do plan to take

Does anyone have a pdf copy of any of the required textbooks? I scanned my Calculate with Confidence textbook but it took me forever to finish and I really don't want to do the other textbooks. Also, If any of you want the pdf for the Calculate with Confidence textbook just let me know and I will be more than happy to send it.

I don't have any PDF copies, I rented the required textbooks from Amazon for the semester. I'd love a copy of the calculation book, tho!! [email protected]

Don’t know if other people on the waitlist are still on the forum but I got accepted last week. Was originally number 12 on the waitlist. Good luck to everyone wish you guys the best ❤️❤️

Do you know how soon they contact the alternates after a seat becomes available? Do they notify anyone before orientation? I called today to try to find out if there was any movement for the Spring 2020 semester and they said we’d be counseled at orientation so idk if that means they won’t notify anyone until at least orientation

If anyone drops that day and your are 1st in the waitlist you will be notified that day. Someone dropped the last week of school and that day Julie called me and let me know that I had been accepted. Good luck!! Don’t be discouraged
