Hello All:

Starting a thread for those of us applying to COC Summer/ Fall 2019 RN program. I am specifically applying to the LVN to RN program. Lets keep each other updated on status.

Guys, let's all meet each other on Monday!

Yes, I'm so down!!!

Ok see you guys then !!

I was alternate #7, and offered my seat 2 days before orientation. I've been following this thread and have appreciated everyone's input, but I have not commented because I did not have an account. Now, I'm giving back... I dropped off my Folder 2 package on Friday, and learned that alternate #8 was just admitted. Also, for those who have not made it for this session, there is a very good chance that the Fall 2019 application round for Spring 2020, will be back up to 50 applicants.

I was notified tonight that a spot opened up for me. I was originally alternate #9, so hangs in there, guys.

Do they send you a link to pay for the Kaplan resources? I couldn’t find the payment link on the orientation canvas and I just want to get everything done.

Congratulations! There's still hope for more alternates....

Is number 10 or 11 on the waitlist on this forum by any chance

Number 10 here ? this is for the Lvn to RN summer or fall 2019?

Hi this is for the RN fall 2019. I’m Not sure if the waitlist is the same for the lvn to rn

Hey everyone! Is anyone planning on moving closer to school? My friend and I are looking for a third roommate for a three bedroom near COC - we're looking in Newhall and Canyon Country but are flexible with location. If anyone is interested, please let me know and we can meet up to see if it would be a good fit. Look forward to meeting you all!

So I am looking at the required classes and they add up to11.75 units. To qualify for FAFSA we need 12 units. What other classes are you planning to take to meet that requirement?

I'm taking KPEA 103 which is a Cardio Cross-Training class. It meets from 5 pm to 6:20 pm

I am currently taking Medical Terminology, and I believe it's a 3 unit class. It's online, and, at least for me, is pretty easy. I'd recommend that for anyone who needs more units! ...I didn't realize we were already at 11.75, though! So perhaps MedTerm would be better saved for down the road when more units are needed.

Is everyone planning on taking the "success" courses? I am not, just wondering if I'm there only one.
