College of the Canyons Spring 2016

Hi everyone!

This might be a little too early for a thread like this, but I submitted my online application for the spring at COC and I'm so anxious yet excited!

Anyone else here already go ahead and do that? What's everyone's stats who's applying?

I have been studying for the TEAS since May, and it feels so real now that my application is in!

I got in too!!

However, I also literally just got my letter from Moorpark's program as well. So now I have the next couple days to weigh which one I go to >_

Yeah I hear back from LA pierce at the end of the month and I might have to make a tough decision as well.

It's hard because I know COC is a great program, but its also over an hour commute for me (without traffic) and its a 5 day a week program, versus moorpark which is my current school, 10 minutes away and 3 days a week which could also be a saturday, so I wouldn't lose my job /: It's a tough call, ugh. I honestly didn't expect to get into Moorpark so now this definitely makes it tough

I would suggest also looking at the stats of the school and the overall pass rate for the NCLEX. ButI have the same issue. Pierce is a lot closer to me and my job. But I will probably decide based on which is a better school.
