I know of a woman, who is a CNA at a nursing home.
She has dated two known drug addicts.
The first one has a long criminal history.
The second one's drug dealer is being sentenced this week.
I really fear for the patients safety as she is around hard drugs. Im not talking about petty marijuana I am talking about FELONY charges!
I have called the elderly abuse hotline, and they told me to call the public health, which I did and filed a complaint.
I have let the place know anon through mail.
I have also placed a complaint to the Department of Professional regulation which is like the IL board of nursing.
Did I do the right things?
You guys are weird as hell here. I was always taught that drugs are bad. But hey if you guys want to be around all of that in your spare time, and put people at risk, that's your choice.Do you not know that little kids can be damaged by being around hard drugs, adults can be too...
The only thing I did was raise suspicion for a drug test to be done. That merely is it. In my state, to do a drug test, then that is the only thing needed.
You all act like she is innocent.
Im sure if I were around convicted felons, around second hand drugs, drug paraphernalia, I would have someone jump on me
Ummmm, in America, unless and until proven otherwise, she is.
You, on the other hand, are acting as judge & jury which last I looked, is not within the scope of a CNA's practice.
Its okay everyone, go get lit in your off duty time, and come into work contact high and all. And take care of people.
Just what I want! Medical professionals with the greatest associates of all. It's a free for all in the nursing field. No wonder you have so many *******s on this forum trying to get out of drug testing.
