What part of the year is best to apply for a CNA position at hospital?

I don't know if there really is a particular time of the year that is right to apply for a CNA job. A CNA job can pop up at anytime of the year when the need is needed for a particular unit. There might be some times of the year there are more job postings then other times, but to say for you to wait for a particular time of the year to apply might be you would be missing out on other opertunities for yourself. If you are wanting to work now look for what is avaliable for you and apply and see if you can get in.

Job opportunities appear at any time, but when it comes to CNA, sometimes you can find more opportunities around when school starts. Some CNA's will leave their jobs or reduce their hours when nursing school kicks in again.

This will vary geographically. Some places have pretty stable populations all year, however where I live in Phoenix Metro, the snowbirds come down from the midwest and Canada for the winter, so August/September/October is the hiring season.

For my teaching hospital, jobs flare when the CNA's (who are in nursing school graduate).

They tend to always be listed in April -when the May classes graduate, and in December, when that term ends.
