Hi!
I'm an ADN student nurse at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, KS. I just completed my first semester of nursing and will graduate in May 2005. We started with 46 students, but we are down to 43 now. We have 7 or 8 male students in the class. Next semester is pediatrics.

Hiya! I'm in an ADN program at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. I just completed my first semester and we will return to school (oh joy :chuckle) on January 21. My class started out at 41 but we went down to 35 within a month. We have 3 males, had 4 but one left. However the remaining 35 of us passed as far as the nursing class is concerned . We should all graduate May 2005!!

4. 90 students ADN, 64 LPN. Not sure on how many continued. I knew of many who did not pass. In my foundations class 5 didn't pass. There are approx. 7 men I am included in that number. We are totally spoiled by the instructors and other students. You got to have alot of courage and heart to make it at my school looks like. Don't be scared to ask for help, and please don't wait till you are too far gone to ask.

4. 160 started in the nursing program in the fall... I don't know how many of those were accelerated, but I do know of several accelerated that will be dropping back to the regular route this semester. Haven't counted the guys, but in each class I have at least 2 or 3.
