Hello! I thought I could start this thread to gather as many CCC nursing students who were just accepted into the program. I figured we could share our stories and get ready for our world as nursing students at Clackamas! Congrats to everyone and let's begin this journey! I am so excited!

To those of you who have sent in your letter of intent to CCC have you received anything saying they recieved it?

I will send mine today and will let you know.:)

Does anyone know the cost for the two years at CCC?

I was looking and doing research on program costs. I know for sure its roughly 60 credits and $87 a credit plus fees and uniforms and books. An RN i work with told me her 2yrs at univ of portland was almost $50k so I'm assuming most universities range around that

OHSU is around $43k total. From what I understand, all the the community colleges are about the same: somewhere between $13k-$17k for the whole program. That third RN-BSN bridge year, though, can be pretty pricey. The OHSU RN-BSN online program costs about $16k. All in all, if you go the ADN-BSN route, you're looking at around $30k total.

Thanks that's good to know.

I emailed the Allied Health today to ensure they received my letter of intent. I emailed it last week. They responded within 2hrs saying they had received it. Im so impressed with CCC so far and cannot wait to start the program.

JaymeeL, you didn't send in a deposit to hold your seat, did you? Just making sure because I didn't see any mention of a deposit in the email. I decided to accept my spot at CCC too! So excited!!! Sending my letter of intent tomorrow.

I went and turned it in today because my scanner was failing me! The lady at the info desk took it and was very nice as well. Yay! Go CCC!

No there was no deposit needed just the letter of intent. Yay go CCC 2016!!!

Is it too early to make a fb page? :)

Not too early at all! Please do make a FB page :)
