Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.
I wouldn't call them. Especially multiple times... they said last day to be notified is November 15th. I know it Sucks to wait but we all need to be patient. I don't think that first batch of acceptance letters was the final batch. Just be considerate of the overwhelming calls y'all might do. Especially if the same answer will be "everyone will be notified earlier or by Nov 15th"

agreed ! I only called twice for general questions and that was it. I just asked if they happen to know the GPA's that are being accepted and said they don't have that information yet cause no acceptances went out and I was like okay and that was it. I don't like to bother them because I know they're slammed with decisions, so I agree ☺️!
Okay so I got some information from an old classmate that was accepted into the program last year, she said that acceptance emails are sent out by how early you sent in your application/alphabetical order... so if you sent in your application early you will get notified early, same for if your last name is in the beginning of the alphabet. She also said, background checks "finger prints" are only ask to be done by those who got accepted.

What does an eligible letter even mean/entail then?

I applied to UST for Spring 25. At this point I'm just trying to start nursing school.
