Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

I don't think so ... either way we have to get an email even if we were denied so just hang in there , hopefully we hear soon 🤞🏼.

Has anyone tried to call student affairs? I did try a couple of times today. No luck. Put on hold for a long time both times.

I called yesterday they said they had a meeting on Monday for the "first batch" and that they still have a "second batch" I guess they're behind because now they said we still have the rest of october and we should all know by November 15th.

I guess none of us heard back after Monday's meeting. I was expecting there is a meeting today.

Well I was hoping that Monday they had the meeting and they're just sending out the notifications today or they're doing the second batch and they're going to send it all together so I'm not sure honestly. I can give yall the number and maybe call and ask if notifications from the first batch have gone out or not ... I don't want to call since I've called so many times already 😅😅

Has anyone received an email about fingerprint background check from the board of nurse examiners? I got one today but I'm confused because I have received an acceptance letter or anything. What do you think that means.

I received an Identogo email from the Texas Board of Nursing. However, I am not sure if it is from my other school that I am accepted to. No way to find it out.

Yeah this is the only program I applied to... I guess I'll have to wait to find out?
