Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

so apparently when I spoke to the admissions person they said the people who had the highest stats were receiving the acceptances first. According to him, they still are having a meeting this week coming up and said we should hear from them this week but did say he hopes that everyone hears by the end of this month. The acceptances and denials are on rolling basis .

For those who have gotten acceptances, did y'all apply early on? And if you don't mind could you share your stats?

Was everybody aware that they changed the chemistry prerequisites from accepting both intro and general chemistry to just general chemistry now?!

It's updated in the website effective Spring 2025 applicants. Meaning that the last semester they accepted Intro was fall 2024

I just went back to look at prerequisites and for our cohort it's just general chemistry they accept. That's the chem I took. Did y'all know that?
