Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

I've applied for the Spring 2025 program and it's currently the only nursing application I have open. I received an email Thursday morning from IdentiGO about the background check registration... Do we think this means I'm going to be accepted? I haven't heard anything from Cizik yet though. Could it be a mistake? Do I go ahead and schedule my appointment or wait until I hear if I'm accepted or not?

I just hope we get accepted. I'm just confused on did everybody got the fingerprint email? I also got an email on Thursday morning and scheduled my appointment for Friday. I think there is nothing wrong on completing fingerprint. One of my friend's wife told me that after fingerprint we will get a letter from them. But I don't know it will surely be an acceptance letter!

Yes, I have. I got it done on Thursday.

For those accepted, did it give you a time frame of when you needed to accept or decline your admission?

Yes. 10 days after applyUTH updates.

I'm curious on who or what entity the acceptance email comes from. In the past, I've seen it come from a person rather than UT Health Houston. Anyone who received an acceptance email, can you share?

It came from an email ending in @uth.tmc.edu . Not sure if I am allowed to say the name. It was someone from the admissions team.
