Hello everyone,
I apply for the nursing program and I have a pre-req GPA of 3.5 and a teas score of 72. i just wanted to know what are my chances of getting in. Does anyone knows what was the cut-off for last semester. and finally when do we get the acceptance letter for Spring 2016?
Thanks
Can you ask about all the issues mentioned here such as the drug testing, background check, CPR certification, etc. required and the deadlines. Also no one said it yet, but I look forward to meeting all of you that have gotten the acceptance! As for those who are still waiting, don't worry it's in the mail!
No one is opening the door in the nursing dept but someone came out from another office and was nice enough to answer the questions. The cpr certification would be good to have if you can before class starts ... and if it wasn't clarified in the papers we can wait til orientation and the health clearance is due Feb 4th and I asked if we need to get cleared by their hospital or our PCP he said we can do it thru our PCP ?? I'm not sure if the person was sure though ... and basically the person said we can wait til orientation.

I want all necessary paperwork and medical forms to be filled out prior to orientation. I also want to complete my CPR training before that day. I'll order my uniforms as soon as I've registered for classes which should be sometime after this week when Cunyfirst opens classes to nursing students. The only errands I'll be leaving for after orientation are hopefully the drug test and the background check since I need more info on the two
