Hello everyone,
I apply for the nursing program and I have a pre-req GPA of 3.5 and a teas score of 72. i just wanted to know what are my chances of getting in. Does anyone knows what was the cut-off for last semester. and finally when do we get the acceptance letter for Spring 2016?
Thanks
I got an email from a prof to go verify my residency status .... I was here for 2 semesters already ... ugh good thing I had time to go today
Okay so here's some clarification regarding any residency issue. The residency that they are referring to is not the minimum one semester required residency at City Tech. It refers to New York State residency. Whether or not you were born in this state or have been living here for many years already, you still need to submit documentation to the City Tech office of residency to prove you are already living in New York or plan to live here for the foreseeable future. There is a form you can get from the office of residency that needs to be completed and submitted along with a copy of birth certificate or passport or driver's license/state ID. The group of accepted Nursing students for Spring 2016 have their names sent to the residency office by the admissions committee to verify this status. It was annoying and I had to run around office to office to figure out what I had to do before someone who knew what they were doing told me what I had to do.
Our acceptance letter came with additional papers containing information regarding what to do in terms of paperwork, uniforms, and the such. I might be going out on a whim here but from what chloezy23 wrote, I think we're meant to upload everything onto the certified website once we've made an account

How do we upload them? And what do we do for the Hippa Osha professional license code of conduct and child abuse mandatory reporting stuff on the website?

okay I'm gonna have to look at that page again I only saw the uniform information. Did you guys buy the stethoscope from that site? They were pretty cheap so I'm iffy about the quality.
