no, the department does not do that, the student does. Also, you're only allowed to replace one course of your choice.

Yes, you must let them know what course you'd like to replace and you can only do that for one of your pre req course.

I plan on taking A&P 2 in the fall to replace A&P 1 but I noticed applications are due before grades are submitted. At what point do I tell them I plan on replacing a course? Btw Thanks for responding!

Of course! When you hand in your application, tell them you would like to have AP1 replaced with AP2 but you currently taking the course. They’ll make a note on your app that the class is in progress and will mark the grade when they review all applications at the end of the semester. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions, I’m happy to help in any way that I can.

Hey guys, Is anyone else having trouble enrolling for class? Are you getting the "department permission needed" message?

I am! I think it takes a while for the system to update because my degreeworks has changed to nursing so it has to be a system thing at this point.

Me too ? I don’t know what’s taking so long. I saw that my major has already been changed to “nursing AAS” one degree works but I still can’t enroll in classes. It’s really getting frustrating at this point.

btw has anyone done the reading yet? I can’t focus on reading it ?

I sent the department an email, but yes it is probably the CUNY system trying to catch up.

I only read the first chapter so far for the fundamentals of Nursing textbook. Did you also get the second text book?

Does anyone know how many nursing classes you are allowed to take per semester? Right now I‘m also registering for classes .

okay , also for NUR 1030 there is lecture and lab . NUR 1030L is the lab portion ?
