Hi, if anybody is in the nursing program currently and need a pair of scrubs in XS petite please send me a message. I dropped the program and only wore the scrubs for half a semester. I’ll be giving it away for free

Testing will be the same for all the semesters. All of the exams will be made by all the professors and all sections will take the exam at the same time at 7/7:30

For now, it’s just once. I’m not sure if this is a one time thing or a weekly thing. I’m lucky to even be able to go. Not all clinical sections are able to go back for this semester if you check out this website http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/reopening/citytech-reopening.aspx they said fall 2021 will only be at 30% capacity.

We just started going to in person this week actually. It’s not at a hospital but on campus.

It really is sad. We have an chairperson who runs away at every inconvenience that happens. Clinicals? What are those? Even half of the students in this program can be a better chairperson than her. I don’t want to be the one to tell her how to do her job. She doesn’t even bother to answer our emails. We are the ones holding the program together and it’s a shame. I do believe that I will do better when I go to in person clinicals because I am a visual learner and learn better hands on. Right now I feel like I’m memorizing information without retaining it and I really don’t understand what I’m memorizing. This school simply do not care. I’m so tired of this school.

Was it always THIS messy and disorganized? I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt considering that this is a pandemic but I just don’t see that they should always be using that an excuse. This is our degree they’re messing with

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. First semester was amazing. A little tough but I pulled through. Second semester is when everything started to go downhill. This program is always trying to teach us good communication skills, trying to tell us the best nurse are nurses who are kind, compassionate, and helpful. However, they’re doing the opposite of what they’re teaching us. They’re always talking about how we should be respectful but they’re treating us with no respect at all. Professors don’t care for us at this school. Bunch of our emails addressing our concerns get ignored. Professors becomes inaccessible after class time. I could go in for days about this program

And don’t even get me started with the professors at this school. They just don’t care and don’t help. I had a great first semester tho.

If you have not gotten anything yet by next week, definitely email them and ask them about the status of your application. Whether you were rejected, accepted, or even waitlisted, you would’ve gotten a letter stating that you were. Also, sometimes they accept more than 70 students. I know for the fall 2020 semester, they accepted nearly 80-90 students. So don’t give up hope yet ❤️

They won’t send all acceptances and rejections all in one day. They will do it over a span of a couple days. Even if you do not get a rejection/ acceptance letter yet, stay hopeful. Sometime people will reject their spot in the nursing program so you will still have a chance to get accepted.

That’s not necessarily true because during the previous semester (fall 2020), the acceptances came in before the c/nc.

Not even the second semester students can enroll yet Bc they’re still trying to figure how clinicals is going to work for next semester. Try to enroll in afternoon A&P2 classes since nursing classes for the first semester are usually in the morning.
