City Hospitals (HHC) Hiring ?

I'm hearing this from different sources but don't personally know anyone who got hired. I spoke to the recruiter at Harlem and they are not hiring. Lincoln has not called me either. Has anyone heard that any city hospitals are hiring?

Looking for a ray of hope here.

There is a hiring freeze at Bellevue Hospital right now, therefore no hiring.

I had an interview for Elmhurst hospital,. but it was only part time and they filled the position. the manager there told me that they are all filled and cant hire anymore. i say check out their job posts because they have hiring opening and closing dates (for all the hospitals) and you have to turn in ur application by a certain date,.. usually very quickly after it has been posted. good luck!

I was hired last month by a HHC hospital, but you have to check there openings frequently because they post positions and remove them fast.

Also, I never filled out an application until I was contacted for an interview. I simply mailed my cover letter and resume to the nurse recruiter and they contacted me. So even if they do have any openings listed, still send in your resume so that if an opening happens, they already have your resume on file.

No! they are still on Freeze, I check every week. I got people in Woodhull and Bellveue!! Still on freeze, but sometimes they opened up psych positions and I was told they prefer someone with experience. so believe me I am on IT!! Since May!!! No luck yet, I even called the nursing recruiter at Woodhull today, still nothing!!! And my info is from a good source!!If HHC is hiring , I know for sure I have a place!!

I agrre with ladyash. You do have to check HHC's website frequently. The postings usually change weekly. Some may only appear for a few days. This week there are quite a few RN positions. They are in different hospitals, but like I said before, you have to check them out. Good luck.

Hey ladyash, not sure if you can get this message. Let me know if you can. I was wondering how did you get hire by HHC hospital? Were you hire on the spot during the interview or they contacted you weeks after the interview to let you know you were hired? Thanks.
