I did talk with her this morning; she is in a meeting all day today and didn't get around to calling the managers on my behalf. She told me to call her tomorrow and that she'd have an answer for me. So, I will repost tomorrow night.

Hi girls,

So, I just got a call from Tia and I have an interview on Friday! It is with her and she did not say what position. She said I was at the top of the list to get looked at since I was there this week and the nurse manager ok'd my app to be interviewed. Soo, wish me luck! I will find out all of the details I can while there!

I got an email today (a general, noreply one) asking me to fill out the background request form. I've done them before for them..so I don't know why I got one again today but oh well. I just filled it out and sent it on.

I'm going to call next week if I don't hear anything by Friday. I'll be down there the week of the 18th and would love to interview then!

Hi all,

So, just got home from the interview. It went EXTREMELY well ... I am absolutely in love with the hospital and would be unbelievably grateful to get a job there. I interviewed with the director of critical care, and the clinical coordinator of clinical care for a position either in ICU, CCU, or telemetry. I told them my top choice was CCU. They were so down to earth and nice, the hospital is wonderful, everyone I met was very nice too. They both gave me their business cards and said to contact them with any questions I may have and that they should have their decisions made by the end of April, first week of May, but more than likely sooner. Other than that, there was really no talk about salary, odds, or anything. She did tell me they had a "large" amount of applicants, but it sounds like theyre only interviewing a few since decisions will be made within 3-4 weeks from now, possibly sooner. So, that's about all I got. Please let me know if anyone hears from them! =)

Wow! Sounds great! I'm calling next Monday there and to Christus Santa Rosa since I'll be down there the following week.

I hope you get the position! Sounds like you really really liked it!

I'll let you know what Tia says on Monday (if I even reach her! lol) and if I get a chance to meet with them too!

No! :-/ I called last week to see if I could meet with someone this week since I'll be in Texas on Thursday - Saturday. I spoke with Tia and she wasn't as accomodating with me as she was with you. She said the managers were still going through the applications (this was last Monday, remember) and that they should start calling people the end of last week or beginning this week.

Didn't hear anything so I'm assuming I'm not getting a call. I'm interviewing at my top choice on Friday so I'm preparing for that now. I'll think about other options in the event I don't get my top choice. But, I'm staying positive and I'm preparing to get the good call from my top choice. :)

Yeah....but it's not really into me to do so yet until I hear about my top choice. LOL! I'm just concentrating on that and nothing else..not even my finals!

They are making choices for my top choice even that same day and I'm interviewing on the final day so all decisions will be made on Friday and Monday. So, I'll take it from there. I'll keep ya posted! :)

Hey y'all! Just got back from my interview at Christus St. Catherine's. It was today at 930am and with the Director of Critical Care, and with the nurse manager of Telemetry. They gave me a tour of the hospital first, and then we went in the room to do the interview. There were a couple of behavioral based questions and then the regular ones like "why do you want to be a nurse.." etc. They were very nice and I had a nice time talking to them. The experience was great and I did ask a couple of my own questions at the end. They said they will call around the 1st week of May and that they were still doing a couple more interviews next week. I hope for the best for everyone! :)

Anita, glad your interview went well!! Hopefully we hear a week from today and not first week of may (I am getting super impatient!) - maybe if we both get jobs (I'm hoping for CCU although I told them I would take either CCU, ICU or tele) we can meet! :)
