Christus St. Catherine New Grad Program 2011

Hi ya'll,

So, can anyone tell me ANYTHING about Christus St. Catherine's new grad program in Katy?!

Got what looks like a secondary application and maybe even an interview there ((crossing fingers)), but can't seem to find anything on the message boards about it ... any input would be great. Just hoping they don't have 2 positions for each specialty and 1,000 applicants ...... :yeah:

Yeah..the only email she ever responded was when I emailed her before the applications went up to find out when they were going up. And for something else, which she sent me a general email. I emailed her about the fax...got nothing. I mailed my application directly to her.

Honestly, the best and quickest response to emails/calls was always with Scott&White..one of the reasons why they are my top choice.

i do believe they accept 2 interns for the specialty units.

Any advice on how to get an update or find out whats going on?

Probably 2 per specialty making a total of what...10? I wonderhow many applicants there are..

Just great. I'm guessing most of them have the same number of applicants. 500 for like 5 positions.

So now that the deadline has passed.....we wait.

I'm actually going to be down in TX april 21st - 23rd for an interview at my top choice hospital. However, I left some "cushion" room just in case St. Catherine calls me since I know they are going to start interviewing on the 18th, that week.

I actually got ahold of Tia Shorty on Thursday; I tried her quick when I left work and she picked up right away. Basically, she told me since the deadline was yesterday, management was receiving all apps yesterday (they have been processed as they have been coming into HR) and they are going to start interviews late next week. I told her my situation (being there this Thursday-Friday) and she said for me to call her like, Tuesday, and get an update and shes going to try to get me into an interview. So everyone, we may start hearing this week or next - if I get an interview there this week I will let you know! =)

Hey MissPamela, let me know if you get in touch with Tia today in regards to setting up an interview while you're down there this week.

If I don't hear anything this week, I'm calling on Monday (the 11th) since I'll be down there the following week.
