Hi all! I haven't seen a message board for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia 2021 New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. We can use this space to ask questions r/t interviewing, being in the program etc. Let's keep the conversation going!

For me it took about 4 days. But I think it varies for everyone because they group people who have completed their video interview around the same time into one second "interview day". So they could wait longer before sending an email as they are probably waiting for more applicants to submit the video interview.

The interview process was long. I originally applied in March 2020 but due to covid everything was sort of pushed back. I got a call from CHOP about a week and half ago asking if I was still interested. I said I was and after being screened by the HR recruiter, they scheduled me for an interview with the manager about a week later. And I got an offer the day after my final interview. Since I have less than 6 months of nursing experience I’ll be part of the residency program !
CONGRATS! So you have a few (under 6m) RN experience but are still hired as a new grad? The website was worded a bit confusing: "CHOP hires Registered Nurses with 1-12 months of RN experience into Nurse Resident positions. These nurses will be offered professional development opportunities; however, would not be eligible for the formal Nurse Residency Program."
Do you know how it differs? I have a few months experience and am looking to apply but wasn't sure how the formal program differs. Thanks! And and Congrats again! :)

I would like to know this too. I went through the entire hiring process (signing an offer letter, speaking with my recruiter about the offer, etc.) and was never told anything about a differential. I definitely should have just asked, but it slipped my mind at the time.

Same thing happened to me! I went through the whole process as well and forgot to ask until now.

Hi everyone! Do you know how long it takes to hear back after the second interview?
