Hi all! I haven't seen a message board for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia 2021 New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. We can use this space to ask questions r/t interviewing, being in the program etc. Let's keep the conversation going!

Awesome!! Good luck! I just got hired to start in April in their ICU float pool program. Are you interested in any particular area of CHOP?

Hi! So I just got hired by CHOP on the onco floor with a tentative start date in May.

The interview process was long. I originally applied in March 2020 but due to covid everything was sort of pushed back. I got a call from CHOP about a week and half ago asking if I was still interested. I said I was and after being screened by the HR recruiter, they scheduled me for an interview with the manager about a week later. And I got an offer the day after my final interview. Since I have less than 6 months of nursing experience I’ll be part of the residency program !

I have not either. Does anyone know how long the wait is to hear if we have gotten an interview?

Hi! I was just emailed yesterday to complete one of the video interviews. For anyone who has completed this step, would you mind sharing some of the questions they ask? I usually do pretty well prepping for interviews, but the fact that you only get a short amount of time to look at the question before you answer is seriously stressing me out LOL. Thanks in advance and best of luck to all of you! :)
