CHOC RN Residency June 2017

Hi all! I was wondering who else is applying to the CHOC New Grad program for the June 2017 cohort. I've been checking the website and nothing has opened up. Anyhow, let's keep each other updated here and good luck to all my fellow new grads!

Has anyone received an e-mail or call for an interview?

I have not gotten an e-mail or call yet for an interview or anything....on their website it says "applications are initially reviewed by Human Resources (for application completeness and content and to verify qualifications). The most qualified candidates are then forwarded to the specific department the candidate selected for additional review and consideration. From this pool of candidates, each department will make its selections and will then contact candidates directly to schedule interviews."

RN Residency in Pediatrics - CHOC Children's, Orange County

It seems that it may take a while for them to contact for interviews.

Seems a tad early for calls. My submission status still only says "completed". I'm not sure if that is supposed to change at any point.

Does anyone know if the first call is a phone interview on the spot, or just to schedule a formal one?

It just says "Completed" when I go back to the Job Submissions. The woman who helped me schedule the interview said that the Onc unit was one of the earlier units to start interviewing.

No phone interview, the call was just to schedule an in-person interview (~30 mins) with the unit manager. Anyone else flying down from SF?

I applied for Hem/Onc and NICU--haven't heard anything. Hopefully we get some good news soon! :)
