Waiting...
Hi @diamondee777 and everyone reading this post, I am so so sorry I never updated you, but I just found this thread again and wanted to tell you that I PASSED! I took my NCLEX on 3/15/17 and after calling the CA BRN, I found out I passed on 4/8/17!! For those who are waiting for their NCLEX results in CA and for some reason they have not been released in a timely manner, DON'T GIVE UP!! Call the BRN and be persistent! Pray and have faith through this time. Remember that you have worked so hard to pass this test. And in the end, if you found out you didn't pass, take a moment to process it and then get back up when you can and start studying the best you can again! This test is difficult, but you can do it and I believe everything happens in God's timing. We always have the opportunity to learn from our past. I hope this encourages someone out there who is waiting so long for their results, just like I did!! There is hope! PM if you have any questions or need more encouragement!

Calling the CA BRN??
Hi NURSEYNURS3, Yes I did!! I am so sorry I didn't see your post! So I took it on Wed, 3/15/17 in CA and I started trying to calling them I believe the week of March 27. I remember on Fri., 4/7/17, I called the CA BRN and actually got through! The guy on the phone basically said something about how there was a form that I apparently had in my file that expired but he would talk to his supervisor about it and in another week I would get something in the mail. Basically I felt devastated because he did not give me any hope and I've read somewhere here that getting something in the mail usually means you did not pass. However, the next morning, in the EARLY morning, at like 7:00 AM or something, my mom checked online through the license verification and I found out I passed! Praise God! So to recap, I took my NCLEX (2nd attempt) on 3/15/17 but found out I passed on 4/8/17. I would say if you haven't heard by now, still persistently call the CA BRN and explain how long you have been waiting and if they are missing anything that you can give them in order to speed up the process. Let me know if you have any other questions!

CHOC RN Residency June 2017
Hi kten11, I also interviewed with the medical unit last week and am also waiting to hear back from them as well! It was my first interview too and I definitely feel the same as you! I admire your optimism and just reading your post made me feel optimistic too and at peace with whatever may happen. I hope and pray we both get good news! If not, then, yes we learn from it all! :)

CHOC RN Residency June 2017
Hi snoopy25, I have not gotten an e-mail or call yet for an interview or anything....on their website it says "applications are initially reviewed by Human Resources (for application completeness and content and to verify qualifications). The most qualified candidates are then forwarded to the specific department the candidate selected for additional review and consideration. From this pool of candidates, each department will make its selections and will then contact candidates directly to schedule interviews." RN Residency in Pediatrics - CHOC Children's, Orange County It seems that it may take a while for them to contact for interviews.

CHOC RN Residency June 2017
Hello all applying to CHOC's RN Residency Program, For those who have completed the Application, how many open ended questions do we have to answer throughout the application? I am still on the Step 1 of the application which is "Personal Information", and I noticed there is 2 there. I am wondering how many more. I noticed that we have to finish each section completely before moving on to the next one . Thanks!

PVT still works?
Thank you for updating us!! This is what I may have to do if I have to wait over a month. Right now I'm at 3 weeks and a day with no results. I am glad to see that going to them worked for you. This gives me hope. Thanks! Congratulations!!

Calling the CA BRN??
Hello all I need advice when it comes to calling the CA BRN? I want to know what has worked for people when calling the CA BRN or was it much better to just drive to Sacramento to talk to them?? My NCLEX story: I took the NCLEX RN on 3/15/17 in CA and this was my 2nd attempt. (The day of my test, my time to take it was delayed because for some reason the Pearson Center's computers would not let the administrators log in for me to take my test. I had to wait 10-15min maybe. I have no clue if that is affecting my results.) Today is 4/6/17 and I still have no results. (it's been 3 weeks and a day - including weekends). I have tried calling the CA BRN at 8:00AM for a few days and at other times in the afternoon, but no success so far!! I will only consider driving to the CA BRN if it has been 6 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I need help! Thanks!

Waiting...
Hi @ diamondee777. Sadly, no results yet! Thanks for asking for an update. I am definitely going to try to call the CA BRN tomorrow morning because it's getting frustrating now. I'm hoping that I passed because to wait this long just to find out that I failed would be more frustrating. (My story: I took NCLEX-RN in CA on 3/15/17 and today is 4/4/17 and no results yet, online or by mail.)

PVT still works?
kyle24, When you log into your CA breeze account, what does it say? If you could take a screenshot and post it, that would be the most helpful. If not, that's okay. I was just wondering so I could compare what mine says with yours. Any news yet?

I am sorry @dtolentin you didn't pass. Do not give up!! This was my 2nd time taking this test and I am determined to not give up no matter what happens. It takes me a lot of faith, trust in God, prayer, and perseverance to keep going. I hope you keep trying no matter what. Thank you. God Bless too!
