CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2020 Cohort

Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

Just got an interview for the PICU! Does anyone know anyone who has gone through the residency program/ is a nurse at CHLA?? I am wondering if it is a good program, whether the nurses there are helpful, etc etc.

No word from the ED either. But I wouldn’t worry too much. If they pushed back the start date I doubt unit managers are rushing to schedule interviews.

Did anyone else receive the long email stating that the program will be starting Jan 2021 & we will hear back sometime between now & August to set up a phone interview if we were selected? The program will now begin in January 2021 & they will use the applications we have on file, there is no need to reapply.

No I didn’t receive that email, but thanks for sharing. I hadn’t heard anyone mention about hearing about interviews by August so that’s good to know.

I did not receive that email either. Maybe it was sent out to certain units?
