CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2020 Cohort

Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

Update - first interview “meet and greet” with the managers is virtual but second “panel” interview is inperson at the hospital! (NICCU)

I wonder why only NICU has called to set up interviews ?

It could be because they’re one of the most under staffed departments in the hospital and need staff. Or the management just has their act together faster than other department managers.

no word from the heart institute so far! I was wondering if anyone knew how many applications per unit/department are usually accepted for each cohort ?

Just got a rejection email from PICU ?

Just got an email about my interview for NICCU still taking place but informing that “the Versant RN Residency Program due to the CoVid-19 will be postponed to start not until January 11, 2021.”
