CHLA RN Residency September 2019

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start this thread for everyone applying to CHLA's RN Residency Program starting in September 2019 so that we can keep each other posted on application status, interviews and whatnot. I applied to 4 East Hem-onc, what about you all?

FYI to my fellow people who applied to 4 East, I called talent acquisition and they said everything has already been sent out for speed interviews and if you didn't receive an email or phone call then you weren't selected.

Honestly I just call the operator and ask them to connect me with talent acquisition.

Anyone heard anything from The Heart Institute yet? I'm dying to find out

I just called talent acquisition and they said not all departments have sent out emails/interviews yet. I also asked about the application status and how mine still says processing/under review. She said that if the position is filled/closed it would be updated on the application status and we would receive an email saying the position has been filled.

So there is still hope! I'm trying to stay positive and pray that I get an email any day now ?

Hi there! I also have not heard back from D5 Medsurg but I'm really trying to stay hopeful since it's seems like they are still working on sending out interviews for other units as well.

Has anyone heard from heart institute yet? When I called last week they said the managers went on vacation.

No word on Heart Institute from me. Hoping we hear soon! Looking at the thread from last year - it looks like people didn’t hear back until the 23rd of April for Heart Institute specifically. They were like the last unit to hear back.

I just received a call from the Heart Institute! I have a speed interview next week on Tuesday ? I'm so excited and nervous.

Can anyone that went through the speed interview process give any helpful tips?

I just had my speed interview for the NICU yesterday and it is super short but jam packed! They just want to get a sense of who you are and why you want to work for them. They told me they would let me know around next week if I would be asked back for a second interview on May 21st. Has anyone else applied for NICU?
