CHLA RN Residency September 2019

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start this thread for everyone applying to CHLA's RN Residency Program starting in September 2019 so that we can keep each other posted on application status, interviews and whatnot. I applied to 4 East Hem-onc, what about you all?

For those of you who were offered an in-person interview, did anyone ask for a video interview instead?

For those who got an interview, were you supposed to re-upload your resume and cover letter?

I didn’t. But I know people have requested it in previous cohorts!

Ok I didn't either. It didn't say to in the instructions so I just scheduled the time. I'm hoping that's ok!!

Does anyone know if they let us know if we don't move forward as well as if we do move forward?

For peds med surg, I have heard that there are interviews scheduled for next week. Good luck to those who have interviews and fingers crossed for those who haven’t heard back yet! Wishing us all the best ?

This might be a stupid question, but what is a "speed interview" like how do we know if we got a speed interview?

I received an email today to schedule "an in-person interview with the NICCU managers" so is that considered a speed interview? the email says nothing about a speed interview. I'm so confused LOL

I had the same question so I called HR and they said it’s just called a speed interview because they’re SUPER short. 10-15 min max.
