Hello all! I am starting this thread for those applying to Children's Medical in Dallas. Applications just opened today, I just submitted mine! Hopefully everyone can use this chat to put each other's minds at ease. Good Luck to everyone on your job search!

hopeful for medical city children’s of Dallas though. However...if anyone is needing a roomate in June, message me!! Thinking about getting an apartment either June or July

I had a phone interview with HCA and told her my top preference is NICU at medical city children’s but also will work regular adult ICU or medsurg at Dallas or Plano location

No i couldn’t go :((( i had a 12 hour clinical that day and the day after and couldn’t leave

That's good!! I went to their Intern Bash last week. I preferenced ICU and PICU, but really would love a job with them in general. I was asked to come down (I live in OK) for another interview tomorrow, but because it was so last minute I wasn't able to skip clinical again. I'm hoping they let me schedule for a different day. I don't know how often units interview or if they do most of them in one day.

Totally understand that!!! Good luck!! I hope you get it!!! I should hear back this week or next week for a second interview

How was the phone interview? I have one tomorrow. Was it just telling preferences or actual interview type questions?

For HCA it was very quick and to the point. She was super super nice too. Asked me why i have a interest in their hospital, my my top 3 preferences are for locations and department and then if i had any question....always ask questions!!!! they LOVE that!
