Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

yeah they accepted your paperwork.

Maybe try calling another clinic and see if will allow you to get your shot sooner. I think it really just depends on the place.

I'm a little confused on sizing too. Idk what to order. I don't like unisex clothes!.

I was going to order my books but the website and list was confusing so I haven't yet.

I ordered the bottom bundle and the fundamentals book. The other bundle I'm waiting because they said they didn't hand out the info on those.

I already have my uniform from a friend who went thru the program. I'm a medium in normal clothes on top and a 6/8 for pants and the smalls are a tad big on me.

k2115, did you order the electronic version of the books or hard copy?

I went with hard copy.

Did you buy them off the websites that were listed on the paper?

I'm hesitant on buying books anywhere that isn't Amazon. I'm scared I'm going to buy the wrong book and get stuck with it and then have to pay even more to get the right book. Haha.

I bought them off of the websites. I was nervous id get the wrong one on Amazon lol. Or that it wouldn't come with the CDs or extras.

@k2115 yeah, now I'm certain an xs will still be too big on me, lol.

@jennybewbs P**** emailed me back and she said my MMR shot should be enough. So I'm going to upload my immunization document on Monday after I get my meningitis shot.

I guess i'll just buy it there too and pay their more expensive prices to make sure I get everything I might need. I wish the Paper was a little more clear though.

@Ab92, that's good. And Meningitis is only recommended not required right?

I agree. Ordering the books seem to be the most confusing part..

@jennybewbs Yeah, it's only recommended but I'm just going to get it just in case.

Yeah, it's very confusing.

My fundamentals book came in the mail yesterday. I read through it, it's so exciting!!

I got my meningitis shot too just to be safe.

Has anyone decided which clinic sections they are doing yet?

I want either sections in Enloe just because it's in the city. How about you @jennybewbs ?

Did you order all or your books already @k2115 ?
