  1. Hey Rachel! I'm on nights. I'm going to PM you!
  2. Hi everyone! I just recently accepted a position at Banner Boswell Medical Center for their Intermediate Care Unit (similar to PCU) floor. My tentative start date is in the middle of March, due to the fact that I have to endorse my CA license to AZ. Is anyone here starting around the same time frame? Any advice as a new grad? And for those currently working at Banner Boswell or went through their new grad program, do you enjoy working there?
  3. Hi everyone! Good luck on your applications! I know the anticipation must be dreadful, but it'll be here sooner than you know it. I am currently a 4th semester nursing student at Chico State so I hope to see some of you next semester! If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
  4. Hey girls. If you don't have a stethoscope or have not yet ordered one, are you going to wait until orientation like what the paper said?
  5. I think it's just non-skid shoes. That's what I'm going to get. And I still have to buy a laptop too ): I work retail so I couldn't even shop during Black Friday at all.. For the 27 hours my store was open, I was working 21 hours.. Lol. Only had time to sleep in between my shifts.
  6. @k2115 Did you already have that stethoscope? I was hesitant of buying mine because the paper said if you don't have one yet to wait until orientation to buy one.
  7. @k2115 I was just about to ask you about that required book. The only latest edition I could find is the 6th edition and there's like two different ISBNs online..
  8. For the physical examination and health assessment book, did you guys buy the package with the health assessment online or did you buy them separately?
  9. Hey guys, I checked my certified profile and I still haven't gotten information about where to take my drug test at :/ How long did it take for your location to show up? It's been about 2-3 days since I signed up for certified profile and nothings showing.. Also, I haven't even ordered my books.. I feel like I'll order the wrong one. ): @jennybewbs, I'm going to email you about the books.
  10. I want either sections in Enloe just because it's in the city. How about you @jennybewbs ? Did you order all or your books already @k2115 ?
  11. I agree. Ordering the books seem to be the most confusing part.. @jennybewbs Yeah, it's only recommended but I'm just going to get it just in case.
  12. @k2115 yeah, now I'm certain an xs will still be too big on me, lol. @jennybewbs P**** emailed me back and she said my MMR shot should be enough. So I'm going to upload my immunization document on Monday after I get my meningitis shot.
  13. If it says complete, that means they accepted the paperwork right? My documents for my CPR, car insurance, and health insurance are all completed. I emailed P**** about the MMR dilemma and she said she's unclear as to why I can't get the second shot. But I think I'll be buying 2 tops and 2 bottoms. However, I feel like even the XS might be loose on me because I think I'm a tiny person.. Lol. Did anyone order their books yet?
  14. Yeah, there's a test at the end. But the course is so simple. It was my first time and I got all of my answers right on the test. If you listen in class and just do as you're told, the test is pretty simple too.
  15. @Jennybewbs I took the CPR course months ago and it was my first time. Not scary at all. It was a four or so hour course and the class just listened and did hands on stuff with the dummies. It's just the BLS for healthcare providers card. Hopefully it's the right one.
