Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

K2115, do you know when they'll mail it out to the rest of us?

You make me nervous now! Lol.

I think the email said once you reply and accept, they'd mail them out. You'll have plenty of time to so everything :)

I know. But i was just wondering if they mail it out that same day and how long it would take. I want to get stuff done early so nothing is rushed. Can you guys believe we will be starting the program in about a month? Ahhh soo nervous

They told me it would come in the mail sometime this week.

I see. Okay. Thanks :)

Hey girls. I just checked my mail and I received my packet! This is getting too real. I'm excited :)

I checked mine but I didn't receive one yet :(

I wish my mail was delivered to my house. We have to have PO Boxes up here. It's such a pain.

Ceci, Really? That's kind of lame, you have you pay for a PO box just so that you can receive mail. Have you received your packet yet?

I do have to pay for the box because they only issue one free PO Box per physical address and my boyfriend uses our address for his. It's about $54/year. Even worse, if you get something too big for your box they put a yellow card in it so you have to retrieve the item from the clerk. They are closed before I go to work and when I get off, the only weekdays I have off are Fridays so I usually have to wait until the end of the week to pick up important things--very inconvenient. It's also probably the only post office in this country that is closed on Saturdays. I went by after work and there was a yellow card in it, but it's probably for some vitamins I ordered.

No packet today, I'll have to go by there again tomorrow night.

Wow. That's pretty lame. What ever happened to regular mail boxes?

Have any of you been able to find a place/job yet?
