Hi everyone.
I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.
I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.
If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.
I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.
I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.
Thank you! :)
I'm still at work-- I work 10 hour shifts :/ Hopefully it fit in the po box so I don't have to wait til Fri to pick it up. I don't think I'm going to even go look at them. The one I want is from the management co. my friend works for so I'm just trusting her judgement. There are actually several in that complex available so I told her I wanted a decent one close to the laundry room, haha.
Well, if she can get you the complex without you having to view it that would help a lot. Especially because it would save you a trip and money on a motel/hotel if you decide to spend the night.
I wish I was working 10 hour shifts right now! All my work is 4 hours. I just learned that my CPR card will not work and i need to get another one. Sad sad times. Haha.
They really don't give us much time to do anything. A lot of this stuff is due January 6-13.
Also anyone noticed a typo on the Verification form(Pg 15)? Mine says to return the form by August 13, 2013. Haha… I think i missed the deadline!
No packet yet! Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Jenny, if I'm not mistaken I think you can do the CPR online through the AHA--you just have to do a skills test in person with an approved instructor where you do the CPR on the dummy torso. I think it might be more affordable that way, but I'm not sure.
That's interesting I will call in ask. I know the job i have set up in chico provides CPR certification, so I was gonna try to call them before I go pay for anything CPR card.
And this is probably a very dumb question but I want to be sure.
So my last TD shot was in 98, so obviously it's expired… If i go get a TDap right now I don't need the TD too right?

Does anyone have co-reqs that they still need to complete? I have to Do Anthropology/sociology, but like I have my D1 Area covered, so I was wondering if I would still need to do it. I talked to P**** and she told me that she would have to pull up my file to answer that question and she won't be doing that until after break is over. However, the deadline to turn in the pink sheet is Jan 7.
Anyone have any kind of information?
