Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

Congratz AB92!

Looks like we will all be seeing each other in about a month.

Do any of you know anyone else that got? I wish more people posted on this thread so we could have talked to more people and know each other for the program starts

I know two others. If we have coffee I'll invite them too.

Does anyone know how many people they admitted off the waitlist last fall?

Nacl, I don't remember the exact number but i know it wasn't very high like fall 2012. Maybe call in and ask them?

Are you still going to try to go to chico even though you've already spent $700 for the LB program?

Congrats to all of you who got in!! Looking forward to possibly meeting you guys! You should all come to the fundraiser event that the CNSA holds at The Bear at the beginning of every semester, it's a good way to meet people from other semesters! :))

And @Jennybewbs It should be doable to take other courses during first semester, and a lot of my classmates are taking some in spring (our 3rd semester) because it is supposed to be the easiest semester! But if you could split them between 1st and 3rd I think that would be a good idea :)

Thanks for the info wildcatkatie. I'll probably talk to counselor too before i decide my final

Schedule. The classes i want to take are pretty easy.

Where can we find more info about the fundraiser?

Congratulations to everybody! It has been helpful reading this forum but just now had time to make an account. I got in this semester with an 88.25. I have gone to Chico since Fall 2012. I am only 19 and am curious how old everyone else is? Look forward to meeting you guys 8))

I just picked up my packet. It makes it so much more real! Orientation is January 21st :)

Bri02, you got in too? Congratz! :) And wow you got all the prereqs done in a year? That's amazing.

K2115, did you pick it up at school or did you get it in the mail already?

I picked it up at school. We have a lot to do before school starts.
