Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

AB92, what's my prize? Haha

I'm searching for a place to live and trying to get more hours to work. How about you?

@Jennybewbs Lunch on me if and when we finally meet! Lol.

But I'm on the same boat as Jennybewbs. Just trying to work a lot, finish up my classes at school, and look for a place to stay in Chico.

I think they had around 150 applicants. There are still some pending I guess

Now it's just a countdown!

150! That's a lot for spring.

That is a lot! I'm really hoping we all get in :/ ugh. I want to know so badly already.. This wait is unbearable..

k112, 150 in all, or 150 who are actually eligible to apply? I do know sometimes people apply even though they don't meet all the requirements.

But that is so nerve wrecking! The cut off is most likely gonna be high then.

AB92, I'm holding you on your word! Haha.

By the way, Where is everyone coming from?

150 including the ones pending. We will see, that's higher than the past springs.

I take it back. 170 final number.

@Jennybewbs Don't worry, I got you. Lol. I'm coming from the Lodi / Stockton area. 2.5-3 hours aways. If accepted, this'll be my first time being away from home :/ How about yourself?

I wonder when the "pending" applicants will be verified. At least it's 170 max, even though that is still high..

I'm nervous now, that's a lot. But I guess fall had more and the cutoff was only 87.

@k2115 In their Nursing Newsletter for Fall 2013, it said they received 270 applicants. Hopefully since Spring is less, the points are lower. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
