Post about your point totals, your questions about the program, deadlines, and get to know one another throughout the application process!
So I'm applying to chico states spring 2015 BSN program. I currently have 87.5 Pts. But am retaking a course over summer school which will put me at 90 Pts. I heard their cutoff for fall 2014 was 89 Pts. so I'm pretty nervous as they seem to be rising ?. My bestfriend is applying as we'll but with only 85 Pts:/. Hopefully we'll both get in. What are your point totals or expectations for chico's nursing program?

I'm applying with 89 points, or maybe more if they count French language in hs and work as a doula. Just looked at the points page on the site and am wondering if Spring 2015 will only be for transfers from community colleges. It looks like that's the trend every few years.
What is a doula? 89 points should be competitive! I'm hoping I went up to 89 or 90 now as well. That would be terrible if they only accepted from the surrounding area chico state was the only BSN program I felt pretty confident with ( I also applied to two local community college programs as back ups). I'm thinking they won't do that though because at the advising session I went to they didn't mention that. They also don't have any news about it on their website so I doubt they'd change it last minute since the application period opens in a few days.
Doulas are birth and postpartum rockstars!

Is anyone else here applying with credit from Butte? I'm inputting all of my courses in CAS, but am not sure whether or not to put the ungraded unsupervised tutoring (ED310) on the online form. It wasn't a class I enrolled in, it is no credit, ungraded, and just shows up on the transcript when you use the student learning center at Butte main campus.
What did everyone else do? Just leave it off I'm assuming

Hi everyone! I am applying to Chico State's nursing program for Spring 2015 with 88.5 points. What are everyone's statistics/points? I am very worried that I will not make the cut off.

Hey guys! I have submitted my application and I believe I have 88 points. I am nervous about the point cut-off, but there typically are LESS applicants in the Spring compared to Fall. I am a Chico State graduate (B.S. Health Sciences & B.A. in Liberal Studies) in December 2012. So I am hoping to return to Chico for Nursing!!! I am also applying to CSU, San Marcos (ABSN), CSU, Northridge (ABSN), and Sacramento State. Hoping for Chico!!

Spoke to the nursing adviser today. She informed me that there was about 170 applicants.

Hi TaraDe,
I called the office today and they said they were running behind and are hoping to get emails out by Wednesday afternoon. The anticipation is killing me!!
