  1. HI!!! I took my test on a Friday (7/21) at 8AM. PVT is a "good popup". It is now 2 days later (Sunday 2/23) at 2:30PM and STILL NO RESULT!! I am in California. Does anyone hear back or see their name on the license look up on the weekend? Anyone else take it on a Friday and hear back on the weekend??
  2. Just took the NCLEX this morning at 8AM. I did the PVT at 2PM (6 hours later) and got the GOOD POPUP! 85 questions in 1 hour 15 min. I had ALOT of SATA questions. It felt like more than 50% of them were SATA. And it was HARD! But I have been told that's a good thing. I also didn't care at all about the research questions. Just clicked on random ones. At that point, I wasn't going to answer any more!!! In regards to the credit card info... I used a similar exp date and cvc number so it didn't charge me just in case!! I got the message "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time". Hopefully this is good news! Good luck!
  3. Hi!! I'm glad someone started this thread! It's nice to hear updates on interviews, units, etc. I am very interested in pediatrics, and even stressed it on my cover letter. My preceptorship was at Kaiser on their Pediatrics unit in San Diego (I graduated from CSU San Marcos). I don't know if UCD does new grad on the peds floor, but I am hoping they do!! I haven't heard anything from UCD, just the "Routed" status update. One of my friends had an interview on a Med/Surg floor more than 2 weeks ago, not sure if she has heard back. She said they would do another round of calls and interviews in July. I am also wondering if anyone who is interested in peds has looked into Shriners Children's in Sac? They rarely have any job postings... if anyone has insight on that, it would be greatly appreciated! Good luck to everyone!
  4. Hi everyone. I recieved acceptance to the ABSN program for the Fall, but have just denied it. I will be attending CSU San Marcos ABSN starting in the summer. So if there is a waitlist, there is hope! Good luck everyone!
  5. Last week after I had asked about background checks and registering for classes they said they are still working on the Summer cohort. So there may still be a chance you get accepted! My advice is BE PERSISTANT. Email them every 2 to 3 days and ask for a day they will get back to you. I'm sorry you are feeling anxiety from all this!! It's such a terrible feeling!! Hopefully you hear good news soon! Good luck!
  6. @lemoyne9 I was able to find the Facebook page! Thanks for doing that.
  7. I emailed the advisor ------------------- today and she said that the Summer cohort will start on June 1st. I will be submitting my intent to enroll later today when they lift my holds on my application. YAY!!! so excited!!!! I am gunna look for the Facebook page now.
  8. I just read my email about admission and they said it can take a day to process the Summer application which will then show up on my student center and I will have an opportunity to pay the intent to enroll. Yeah They said I have to do all of that before Monday at midnight!! So they might send something out next week then about orientations and such. Does anyone know what day we start??
  9. I GOT IN!!!! I received my conditional acceptance email yesterday, ON MY BIRTHDAY! What an amazing feeling!!! So i filled out the new Summer 2015 application online. But how do I pay my intent to enroll (BY MONDAY!)? Where would I find that??
  10. Oh man, it scared me for sure!! But hopefully I will hear back this week!! Did everyone on this thread get accepted??!!? Is anyone still waiting?
  11. Alright... sorry for the 3rd post today. The student center fixed the issue. My application is back up on there. PHEW!!!! That caused me some anxiety today! I thought they dropped my application!
  12. Also, what does the student center look like when you have been accepted??? Where it used to show my pending application at the bottom off the page, it is now saying "You do not have any pending applications at this time." Does that mean they are done processing my application???
  13. I am still waiting to hear back!! I was hoping to hear back last week, but got an email on Friday saying they will get back to me about my admission "in a week or so". It is very frustrating. I wish they had set ONE DAY to get back to everyone (like most schools do) and have a consistent communication with applicants. I figure if I don't hear back by Wednesday this week I will email them again on Thursday. I am trying to figure out my job right now because they need to know if I can work during summer or my position will be taken. I am banking on getting in just because I have about 37 points, which is much higher than their average. But because they haven't gotten back to me yet, it concerns me!!! The advisor I have been talking to, ----------------, is very nice about everything, but I can tell they are feverishly working on applications. She said that CSUSM has an internal point cut-off but they are unable to share that number with applicants. Anyone else feeling frustrated?!
  14. This is a major part of the email I recieved that should explain it..... It is too early to determine what the final point cutoff will be for*Spring 2015,*but we estimate it will be higher than previous spring terms.*Candidates with the same point total are ranked according to their Nursing GPA; and if needed, TEAS score.* The current point cut off is 73 points—this may drop with declines (Spring 2014, 8 declines; Spring 2012, 11 declines; Spring 2013, not comparable since University admission was only open to Sac State students). You were part of an exceptional group of 287 candidates from which we will enroll 80.* Seventy-five candidates have been offered admission; five seats will be held open until*Friday, December 5, the deadline to report any errors.* If an applicant declines admission, we will immediately offer the seat to the next alternate on the list.* The candidate ranked number seventy-six is now alternate number one.* Your alternate number will not change.* If you are alternate number one through five, you have an excellent chance of being admitted.* The alternate list is maintained until the end of the first week of instruction.* Please refer to the School of Nursing,*Traditional BSN*homepage for the last alternate selected to-date,File Not Found - 404 - Sacramento State
  15. The initial cutoff was 73 points for the first accepted 75 students. Not sure what it was for students 76-80 (who are also alternates #1-#5), but it was probably 73 points too.
