Hey everyone,
In your opinion, is Chemistry as hard and time consuming as A&P I&II. I have completed all my A&P and am signed up for Chemistry. I am trying to decide if I should take a 3rd class this semester. If it is as time-consuming as A&P, I don't think I could add another class.
Please let me know your thoughts.
TIA
I am taking Organic chem, AP2, micro biology and Sociology. I love love love organic chemistry. Is it challenging? You betcha, but I love that about it, and it is so interesting! AP2 is interesting but a little more difficult. Micro is a complete challenge. But all the classes interlink, so the organic leads into micro which leads into AP2 so it is really not bad.
I took Chemistry a couple of semesters ago. This semester I'm taking AP and to me this is way harder. The memorizing part is difficult, but just understanding the material is even harder. Flash cards is what I find most helpful in memorizing, but when it comes to really understanding the concepts, I love interactive websites. I'm a distant ed student so being able to 'see' what I read and hear during teleconference makes all the difference. Good luck with class )
I took A&P 1&2 and I am taking Gen Chemistry right now. I think Chemistry is easier, but it is harder for me to study since I think it is a lot more boring. I found A&P pretty interesting and didn't really mind studying. It is a lot of memorization though which is really hard for me (I don't have a great memory). There isn't much memorization in Chemistry and it is pretty easy once you understand it. It took me a while to understand it though, but I got a 96 on the test because I studied my behind off. I just did problem over and over until I totally understood them and didn't make any mistakes.

I can honestly say that I had fun in chemistry... AP2 is proving to be quite the challenge. Not to say that chemistry wasn't, but I loved solving the equations. Faster for me to learn that say the blood vessels. I took Chemistry in an 8 week class. Timeconsuming, but not "hard"
Since you have already completed AP 1 and 2, it will give you an added "edge"
Good luck! What are your other 2 classes?
