  1. so the waiting game begins.. took the exam yesterday... 75 questions.. about 20 SATA questions.. no med calculations.. some meds I have never heard of.. I went back and saw that some of my educated guesses were right.. some were not.. I did the trick.. and it came up passing.... so hoping it is correct.. I need to get out of this house.. doing searches on "75 questions.. did I pass" is driving me crazy!! I also need to stop stalking the nursing board seeing if my name is on it.. lol..
  2. I was under the impression that one fte (full time employment) was equal to one 40 hour (or whatever they considered to be full time) employee... so, for example, 1 fte could be 2 employees working 20 hours each (if using 40 hour as full time) Is that what you were looking for?
  3. check with your college to see if they accept online science courses with labs. (that is what i did) try Rio Salado College Good Luck!
  4. I think somewhere on their site it talks about the rules for proctor... your local library probably has a program.. my library even had information about proctored exams on their website...
  5. proctored exams are not new.... you can either go to the testing sites (in Arizona) or do what I did.. take your exam at the local library (they will mail the test to the proctor)
  6. they do have grant in addition to extended campus program (I am in the grant program... not extended program) there are 12 each semester...It is to end I think in 2010...
  7. good luck! did you already take the teas test? (I heard that was coming up for those that needed to take it)
  8. hey there... I saw that someone bumped this thread back up... I am now in my 1st semester... and I love it! I ended up rec. a letter to take foundations and Pharm last semester.. I rec'd my acceptance letter last November... Glad I had a nice summer.. I read, spent time with the kids... and yes... the time flew by.. :)
  9. no.. you use the ADAM software...
  10. 100% in California online?.. no.. I live in California and took mine (100%) via Rio Salado... (in Arizona) Good luck!
  11. wow.. this is truly my life!
  12. yes.. check with Rio Salado... but check with the nursing schools to see if they accept.. I know Goldenwest and Santa Ana do (saddleback does not)
  13. I took Micro at Rio Salado... loved it.. tough class, lots of essays, but I learned a lot. Check with your nursing school to see if they accept online science courses with a lab. Oh...Rio has classes that begin every 2 weeks...
  14. Hello.. I was on the wait list for 8 months (I was told it would be 1.5 years) I spent lots of time with my kids, was a room mom, read lots of books, knitted a blanket and worked out. I am beginning the program in just about 2 weeks... I am now putting the finishing touches on my kid's room (cleaning closets, etc) Enjoy.. the time goes by fast (people told me it would.. I had my doubts, but they were right!)
