  1. Wow. Where do I start.
  2. I can't find anything online that really explains what it is though.
  3. Help a nursing student out please! :-) I know it's a test to see how much fluid is being retained and it's supposed to be
  4. Second semester student here. There's no specific brand that you need as long as it's all white. Get whatever has the most pockets and is most comfortable. As time goes on, you'll need to carry more and more stuff in those pockets.
  5. No. I'm in the program now. Family night: You bring one family member. They take your photo for your I.D. tag, you buy your patches for your uniform and they answer questions about the program (uniforms, classes, times, clinicals, etc.).
  6. I know you're gonna hear a lot of info from a lot of different people about the TEAS. For me; it was a whole lot of worrying for nothing.
  7. Show up on the first day of class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were only two alternates that showed up and they both left early (who knows why)....they actually had to call people to fill seats at the beginning of this semester. Can you believe that?!
  8. I've been working on Saturdays only. I know a few other classmates work upwards of 36 hours still.
  9. Usually it's an 8-2 thing...plus studying. Some days you have to be there at 730.
  10. First quarter of first semester goes something like this.... -First 3-4 weeks, you're involved Monday through Friday. -When you start clinicals the 4th week, depending on your clinical site, it will be school m-t off wed (but you go to clinical sight to pick patient and then have to do prep work) and clinicals either thurs only or thur and fri.
  11. Got my teas score this afternoon too. I did well. Now it's official!
  12. Has anyone else recieved their TEAS scores yet? I took mine on Saturday, and they said we should be able to view them by Monday morning, I haven't seen anything yet on the website.
  13. Read through this entire post, I detailed the points. As to your second question, the simple answer is "no". You can only apply and update once a year now at cypress.
  14. It was mentioned at the end and it's on the paperwork you were initially sent. Sat. 8am-noon TE3-222
  15. Go there and talk to them. It's a lottery system. However, if you're not picked after three semesters you are guaranteed a spot.
