***Chemistry - Fall 2005***

Who else is taking Chemisrty this semester? I thought maybe we can check in with each other, and help each other out.

If there is enough of us maybe we can even get a sticky.

I am taking Health Science Chemistry 1.

Congrats on your 100! I still have my 5th test on Wednesday and my final on the 14th. I am sitting between a C and a D. If I get atleast a 75 on the next 2 tests I will pass. If I don't pass I have to wait another entire year to be able to apply to the nursing program. :( So I am praying for a C. I am ready for this semester to be over!! I wish you all luck on your finals!

No we haven't gotten any study guides or anything. I don't know much about the test. He just said this Friday we will do a review and Monday is the final! :uhoh21:

There is a study guide for the ACS exam and I highly recommend it. I'm very surprised that your instructor did not offer to order them for you guys! What better way to prepare for a national exam than by using their study guide! The exam is very tough and our instructor told us that he would not be able to cover everything that was going to be tested on that exam. I'm not sure you'd have time to use it even if you ordered it now. Maybe your library has one or if you have a science learning center, they may have one.

Thanks for that! I wish I knew about it being our final at the beginning of the semester. If you knew our instructor, than you wouldn't be surprised at all. He just told us about this. At the beginning of the semester he said that we will be taking the ACS but it wouldn't affect our grade at all and it was just for the school and not to worry about it but now he said it will be our final. Does not give us enough time to order the study guide. Now that you said the exam is very tough I am worried because he is using it as our final!! :(

As for me, finished Chemistry Wednesday. I got a 100, and SOMEHOW wound up coming out of this dreaded class with over 100. I'm so grateful....but mostly because it's over!! :clown:

I got a 80 on my 5th test. I have my final on Wednesday. I am so scared. I need atleast a 75 to pass the course. Wish me luck and prayers too please!!

Hi everyone, I just joined this website and thought I would jump in on this thread since I took Chemistry this Fall. I just got my grade back today and I got a B, which I am totally happy with. This chemistry stuff is hard, thank god I dont have to take anymore chemistry classes. Good luck to everyone who is still taking finals.
