Chemeketa 2017 RN entrance

Anyone else applying for the 2017 entrance? I'm taking CHEM 110 and BIO231 this fall, and hoping to take BI 232, 233, PSY 201 and CIS 101 this winter before applying. I already have a bachelors degree which should cover the other pre-reqs. Do you basically have to have a perfect score to get in? Does anyone know more about it? Their information is so lacking!

Here's a sort of non nursing school related question....anyone part of Phi Theta Kappa? I've always received the offers but never joined at all. The only thing that makes me think of it is for scholarships?

Yes! I'm a member, and it does qualify you for more scholarships. Depending on what school you transfer to, it also might qualify you for a phi theta kappa transfer scholarship

I'm doing the same! It's crazy to think that all the hard work and studying for the last 18 months finally comes down to a decision that will be made sometime next week. The stress is real folks!

Did you guys get your nursing score sheet #? I got 302, which I'm not sure is high enough to be considered... it's hard to tell what numbers are competitive yet. We should hear in early May, correct? Also, still obsessively checking email every day to hear from monmouth :/

I have 298 and am not feeling very confident since my test score was lower than most the people on here The email said early May so I'm hoping we find out sometime this week.

@carajoy76, that seems like a high enough score to get in, but I don't know for sure. Its hard to tell since this is only the second year that they are doing the Kaplan exam as a part of the application process.

I am also anxiously awaiting to hear back from OHSU Monmouth. I have read through the OHSU forums on here form the past, and those who applied to Monmouth received news on the 28th of April. No one has posted anything about getting in yet, so I am hoping that they are just taking a bit more time this year. Early this next week will be two weeks form interviews, so hopefully we will know in the next few days.
