Hello everyone, I know the application date is not till August but I am already nervous and stressed about getting accepted to CSN for spring 2017. Anyone else applying this August?

Does anyone know how they accept your humanities? I have more than one, and hoping they take the one with the higher grade cause it will bring my gpa up, but wasn't sure how they decide which one they will count.

They do! You request they use the highest scored courses

I am nervous too! I want to apply in August but might wait til I finish all my pre reqs including micro and AP2 and Complete my other associates degree first. It is so stressful to decide

Definitely take AP2 before starting. Quite a few take micro while in nursing courses but I had to retake AP2 because mine was "too old", so I took it with level 2 Summer (pharm and mental health) It was really hard to juggle everything.

I want to apply to LSU too.. I scored an 85 on the Hesi, do I need to go back to the prometrics and get their signature and stuff? or Can I print it out on their website?

The HESI for charity and LSUHSC are different. I know charity accepted LSUHSC version but not sure if other way around. For charity I just brought a copy of my LSUHSC HESI score report from the evolve website no signature or anything needed

Hi, I will also be applying for spring 2017. Does anyone know if the program runs through the summer? Or is it spring/fall? Thanks! I hope everyone applying gets accepted! I'm super nervous

Hi, I also plan on applying for spring 2017. Do you know the length of the program? Is it two spring/fall semesters or does it continue through the summer?

The program is 2 spring semesters and 2 fall semesters. They also offer pharm and special pops classes over the summer. I would highly recommend taking at least 1 of those over the summer. It will lighten up your load. Good luck. It's a great school

Thanks so much!!

Pharmacology and sometimes mental health and gero health are offered over the summer. Taking them will lighten your load but not accelerate the program. It is 2 years. 2 fall/2 Spring.

Hi! I'm taking my hesi on July 11 as well. I have been studying like crazy. I'm really nervous because I really want to get an 80. Have you taken it before?

I took the HESI for an LPN program in the spring... I did not have to take the science portion. I made a 86 in the Engliah composite and an 82 for math. This was without much studying. I purchased the HESI admission as senescent exam review book by elsevier and its spot on for what was on the test for English and math. I'm taking my exam on August 15th....so I'll be studying big time until then! I'd love to make an 80 also.

I have that book as well..do you plan on applying in August?
