Hey guys, I failed my first test really bad. I studied a lot, I could have probably taught a lecture on it knowing so much info, but I don't know how I did so bad on my first test today. is there a good book/article/video that helped you guys take nursing tests?

Hi, I know i'm an idiot and should have done this sooner, but I'm going to become a new RN student in january and the its due by monday of next week(12/12/16).. On the website it says it takes 1 day to get approved, can anyone confirm or give their experience with NSO?

The math is exactly the same as in the book. Some of them require you to put in the answers. All but one fraction problem was multiple choice(So, I would get the answer, divide on the calculator they have on the computer to get the ratio, I would then match the ratio with the multiple choice answers. This is a quicker/more accurate way rather than reducing) The vocab was difficult(I studied with the pocketprep), but will study the book more this time around. The Reading was easy! Hint: You can use control+F to search for keywords The Grammar was direct, but I need to work on it more. The sciences are not the same as in the book. The book goes very vague, there were some questions that I could answer, but it went a lot more indepth than I thought!! I was scoring 100s on the pocketprep App and I got a 68 and 75

I heard that community college CNA's take longer. I heard there are institutions that can get you in and out really quick.

If you want to start with a livable salary, LPN.... I heard CNA's salary can be VERY low. I would personally try to get a ADN first, if not then go be a LPN for 2 years, then reapply to get your ADN or BSN

I want to apply to LSU too.. I scored an 85 on the Hesi, do I need to go back to the prometrics and get their signature and stuff? or Can I print it out on their website?

Hey you guys. I wanted to apply and still am applying for the ADN-RN program at charity school of nursing, but I would have to get a 85-89 for a composite of 65 and a 90+ for a composite of 70. I am currently a exercise physiologist major at UNO, and the jobs and pay isn't very well. I am hoping LPN has jobs that pay at least 37k+. How much do LPNs make? And how are the job availAbility? thanks

Many degrees before require a lot of humanities. I'm 99% sure picking the highest grade will be no issue l. As long as it's not a repeat or anything.

Damn, I would have had a 3.5 with just the general education requirements. I got a C in both the lectures of AP1&2. Which bought it down to a 2.96... So I'm taking a Spanish 101, for a fine arts to bring it to 3.0. There's a 10 point difference! I had a B in music appreciation.

thanks so much, last question, sorry to bug you!! on the assessment sheet, "CSN Curriculum GPA"... What courses goes towards that? Is it everything you have completed or just the basic pre-reqs?

I am also applying to CSN for the spring.. So much anxiety! I am taking my first Hesi A2 test on June 14th.. I've been studying like crazy.. For the evaluation sheet... The withdrawls section.. I withdrew once but it wasn't a requirement for the Nursing GPA, does it still count against me?

I've been reading that calculators are not permitted on the hesi a2 entrance exam. Today I went to go sign up and as I was going over the guidelines, it says, "Calculators are PERMITTED"... Did any of you guys take the hesi a2 and calculators were allowed? And if so.. Was it a basic or scientific calculator ?
