Charity school of nursing spring 2017?

Hello everyone, I know the application date is not till August but I am already nervous and stressed about getting accepted to CSN for spring 2017. Anyone else applying this August?

Yes, I am applying. I'll leave straight from the Westbank campus after my HESI test to go drop of my application on the 15th! I have a 3.6 GPA and no d/f and no drop classes. I have not however completed A&P 2 so I'm only going to have 65-70 points for my profile score. I'm praying that will get me in! I'm taking A&P 2 in the fall so I'll have it done before spring semester starts.

I will have a profile of 65-75 depending on my hesi..I didn't get any points because I had two D's and two W's however I have a degree and I've taken all my classes. My gap is a 2.8 and my csn gpa is a 3.2...I'm praying I get in..did you go to the advising?

No I didn't go to advising. I did go to the open house and they did a little session with us and I also have been talking to some of my friends who attend. I was told is all comes down to your profile score. Typically 65 or higher will get you in, but since Ill just have 65, I will be holding my breath until I get that letter!

The advisor said 60-65 would get you in depending on how many students apply. She said they will take the higher profile scores first. Hopefully we both get in. Ill keep my fingers cross

Let me know how it goes. I take it July 21st. I am close to completing A&P 1 and it has been one of the hardest classes I have taken.

Right now without taking the Hesi, I stand at a 55 profile score.

I would need to get at least an 80 HESI score and above so that it puts me at a better spot of getting admitted with a hopeful 70 profile score if I can achieve that 80. I am so nervous!

I went to the advising they have at charity and the advisor told us that they take students with a profile score of 60-65 it just depends on how many students apply. She did say they start with the students with the higher scores. I'm going to apply to our lady of the lake in BR just in case I don't get in at charity. I'll let you know how the hesi goes. I advise you to get the book and start studying.

We are exactly the same! I have a 55 without HESI and I'm 2 weeks from finishing A&P 1.... I pushed my HESI test until August 15th so I will have 3 weeks to commit to studying!

I heard 65 and up usually get it! I surly hope it's true because I will most likely have a 65!

Try to take it before August 15 that's when applications are due. I'm taking it Monday & next week just to make sure I get my score
